D-Rental

D-Rental (Decentralized Rental) service is a decentralized system that uses Web 3.0 to solve the problems of existing luxury fashion rental platforms and provide users with a better experience and various benefits.

In the existing rental system, the investment cost is very high because the platform directly purchases luxury goods to provide rental services to users. Due to this structure, the platform is unable to secure abundant products, which in turn is a problem in providing various rental services to customers using the platform.

On TheStyle, users can consign luxury fashions that they own or have purchased through TheStyle to provide rental services to other users who need them.

Users can first purchase NFTs that are tied to physical products. After purchasing a physical-linked NFT, users have two options. One of them is that you can immediately list the items you buy on TheStyle as rentals and earn money from them. Through NFTs, you retain ownership of the product, but the platform holds the physical product, so you can start renting it immediately without any hassle.

You can also list luxury fashion items that users have lying dormant in their closets as rentals. In this case, the user sends the item to TheStyle for inspection. Once approved, we issue the paired NFTs and start the D-Rental.

Rental

Traditional rental services are familiar to web 2.0 users, and TheStyle builds a rich product lineup by offering rental capabilities in the same way as traditional platforms, in product areas not yet filled by D-Rental. This approach minimizes the barrier to entry for web 2.0 users, creating a natural funnel to TheStyle.

StyleChain purchases high-quality luxury fashions through its existing infrastructure and then rents them to users through the TheStyle platform. Of course, as mentioned above, users can always buy these items for investment purposes and convert them to D-Rental and take the rental income. The key is that there's room for StyleChains to actively control the volume and depth of their offerings.
